QUESTIONS

Do you offer volunteer or pro bono work/services?
No. Due to my extensive involvement in the voluntary sector, I do not have the capacity to participate in uncompensated work at this time, for any individuals, institutions or causes. I only make exceptions for youth groups who feel strongly about my involvement in their initiative(s), who otherwise have no sources of funding to be able to compensate me (pending my availability for the proposed time commitment).
How does pricing work?
I have tiered pricing that differs between those requesting services for the private, public and voluntary sectors. I am able to offer some discounted pricing for those that identify or represent groups led by Indigenous and/or racialized women, gender-diverse peoples and youth (under 30).
How does payment work?
I accept payments via PayPal, E-transfer or Cheque. I require a 50% deposit upon signing to reserve your spot in my calendar. Upon finalizing our timeline, the remaining balance is paid on the event date/agreed upon date.
What is your approach to selecting initiatives to participate in?
I only accept projects that are in line with my work, and that which operate under appropriate ethical considerations. This includes, but is not limited to, the provision of proper compensation of youth, womxn and gender-diverse peoples, historically excluded/oppressed groups, and underrepresented groups overall, and a centring of equity and intersectional practices (based on the theory of intersectionality coined by Black scholar, Kimberlé Crenshaw). I do not accept a large number of projects, as I dedicate 110% to each initiative and believe in taking a co-designed approach to ensure that the product meets your needs. This takes a considerable amount of time, energy and labour but I am committed towards ensuring the success of the initiative.
What does your usual availability look like?
I typically book 1-3 months in advance but I am able to offer some flexibility, so please feel free to contact me regardless and I will inform you of my availability upon hearing of your timeline.
What are your prices?
